Xing Hu

Hi, I'm Xing Hu.

I am an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Hong Kong.

Trained in Operations and Management Science, I study governance through operational design—how mechanisms, pricing, matching, and platform rules shape incentives, cooperation, market access, efficiency, and welfare. My research spans resource sharing and token-based exchange, platform operations and revenue management, shared mobility, and AI governance.
